This week..

I'm sitting here feeling a little guilty as we enjoy some much needed rain, whilst other's in Australia are watching the skies with dread as their areas flood. I've been regularly calling my Mum and Dad, who are farming up near Lismore and who, 5 years ago, lost their entire cattle herd down a flooded river. Stay safe everyone! !
This week we've a family birthday. Happy birthday, Boo We've celebrated Australia Day with friends. Can you ever have too much pavlova?
And I've managed to complete this little cat stitchery.free pattern from here
My only other sewing was some school dress hems! Kids go back to school this week so I am looking forward to a little peace and quiet. This sums up my feelings...

    I know what you mean about the rain, we are happy to be getting some today too. Awesome cake, no you can't EVER have too much pav, and that is a very cute stitchery. Is it part of something bigger?
    Totally understand your pic.......I love school holidays but it's definitely time for them to go back. Enjoy the rain.

    I love the cake too :) And pavlova...

    Sigh. This healthy eating thing I'm doing is very hard work some days ;)

    lucky you got some of the rain we missed out...........just a bit to far west of it......so close but so far.........
