Bordered nine patch

Managed to get my quilt top together and was pretty pleased with it, really. It was a fun block to piece, and I enjoyed matching up the fabrics as I went along. If I made this quilt again, next time I think I'd make the blocks with the darks and lights in the same places in the block, rather than alternate the lights and darks.
It's been lovely to have some rain lately and to see some things actually growing in the garden. My daughter has a green thumb and planted some sweetpeas for me when she was home during the isolation period. So excited to see them grow and with any luck, bloom soon.

  2. That is a lovely quilt and one I'll be putting that design on the list. I so need to make a quilt that has no triangles. Enjoy your sweet peas when they bloom - such a heady scent.
