A Girls Day in the Country

Well, I was one of the lucky ladies who headed out to Nundle to participate in the Girls Day in the Country, with guest tutor, Anni Downs. It was a great day with lovely company, food and a sense of accomplishment as I actualy finished something!! We had several choices of projects, a pincushion, a needle case and a stitchery but most of us did the pincushion and got it finished on the day! (Since you get the kits for all three, I have some lovely things to work on at home.) Anni and Kerry from Cottage on the Hill did such a terrific job.

I also bought a few bits and pieces - a copy of Anni's latest book " A Boys Story", some lovely wool and a pattern, that seems to have gone AWOL already...something that regularly occurs in this messy house!

Kerry is already taking names for next year..if anyone is interested??

  1. Was such a good day wasn't it??? Your photos are great.....mine looks really good sitting in front of the stitchery you did for me....must finish the trim ;) I agree...think next year would be a great opportunity for a reunion :)
