A day at sewing class and this is what I finished..
It's for my Sue Ross BOM..so far this is my first finished block in the 9 or so that I have been sent! Hopefully I will have more time to work on them since we now have finished preparing for our school ball.
I spent a fair portion of the last few weeks making these garlands as decorations - the theme was Spanish Fiesta..
In the photo above, can you also spot all the lovely paper roses the school kids had made that were strung across the hall? And then there were all the other little touches that made the hall look just great!
Unfortunately I didn't take a picture of the 100 little lemon cakes and 6 slabs of brownies that I also made for the night...it was just too busy a week!
And my quilt that I'd made?? Well, my lovely hubby bought it back again..he was just attempting to bring the price up and we ended up coming home with it!! So we will just have to look at the darn thing for a bit longer... :-)
I think your quilt was totally gorgeous, if I had been there it could have turned to a bidding war!
